THE BIGGEST BARRIER TO CHANGING YOUR WORLD
Change Your World - Part 5 of 7 | November 6, 2022

The biggest barrier to changing your world is….YOU.
4 Problems to Overcome:
1. Problem: I am wandering without PURPOSE.
Solution: ASK FOR HELP
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10 NLT
2. Problem: I am INADEQUATE.
Solution: ASK FOR HELP
But Moses pleaded with the LORD, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” Exodus 4:10 NLT
3. Problem: I have to do it ALL MYSELF.
Solution: ASK FOR HELP
“When Moses’ father-in-law saw all that Moses was doing for the people, he asked, “What are you really accomplishing here? Why are you trying to do all this alone while everyone stands around you from morning till evening?”” - Exodus 18:14 NLT
4. Problem: I am the LYNCHPIN.
Solution: ASK FOR HELP
“Then Moses said to the LORD, “O LORD, you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Please appoint a new man as leader for the community. Give them someone who will guide them wherever they go and will lead them into battle, so the community of the LORD will not be like sheep without a shepherd.” - Numbers 27:15-17 NLT
The biggest barrier to changing your world is…YOU.
The Solution is…Ask for HELP.
“I can do what you cannot, you can do what I cannot;
together we can do great things.” – Mother Teresa
This Week’s Memory Verse:
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.”
-Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
For Discussion @ Home:
Ask, which of the four problems are you wrestling with? Then, take some time to sit together as a family. Have a small piece of paper for each member of your family and write their name on it. Have the rest of the family write down what makes that person unique and the positive role that they play in the family. Each person should walk away with a page full of encouragement.
