Why volunteers matter:
Volunteering is a great opportunity to use your time, energy, and skills to make a real difference in someone’s life. Whether you are enthusiastically greeting our guests, holding babies in the nursery, or playing the drums on the stage, every volunteer has a part in the life-transformation that happens each week at Westside. Join a team and experience the joy of knowing that God used your life to make a life changing impact.
What’s the commitment?
When you join a volunteer team, you are assigned a Team Leader who will work with you to create a serving schedule that best fits your availability. We encourage most people to serve once a week whenever possible, but many teams have volunteers rotating every other week or even once a month. You are never locked into a team. If you feel it’s not the right fit for you just talk with your team leader about trying something new.

ONLINE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Digital Ambassadors - Help spread the word for church online by hosting a Watch Party on Facebook each week, sharing our social posts, and inviting friends & family to connect.
Online Connection Team - Welcome, pray for, and encourage those attending church online in the chat.
New to Westside Connections Team - Be a tour guide to those who are new to Westside, from the moment they plan a visit to the moment they step through the door. Connect with people via text, email, and phone call to offer prayer & encouragement, answer questions and connect them with valuable resources.
IN-PERSON VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Hospitality Team - Help welcome and wow those attending our onsite services by greeting and serving refreshments to our guests on Sunday.
Campus Maintenance Team - Help keep our campus clean and ready for guests. If you like fixing, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining indoors or outdoors, this one is for you.
Kids’ Team (Birth-5th Grades) - If you have a heart for kids, sign up to find out how you can engage with and encourage them to find and follow Jesus.
Student Team (6th-12th Grades) - Our amazing Student Team is looking for Middle School Shepherds to encourage and connect regularly with a small group of students.
Music Team - Do you play a band instrument or sing? You could be a part of our stage team, producing a life-transforming worship experience each week.
Production Team - If you are creative, like technology, music, or art, you can make a difference behind the scenes with video, audio, or lighting for our weekend experiences.
Admin Connections Team - Work with the office team on Mondays to connect Westsiders with prayer and Next Step follow-up from Sunday service Connection Cards.
