Relationships 101 Episode 2: Making Your Home Sweet Again

Show Notes

What if your home was IRRESISTIBLE?

Your Experience at Home Makes You or Breaks You

Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.

-Proverbs 17:1

I am tired of living among people who hate peace.

-Psalm 120:6

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

-Romans 12:2

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

-Colossians 3:12

Mercy - I feel your pain

Kindness - Meeting real needs God’s way

Humility - A deep sense of your own littleness

Gentleness - Power with reserve

Patience - Slowness in avenging wrongs

13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

-Colossians 3:13-15

If you’ve never said YES to Jesus, to receive His unconditional love and forgiveness, consider praying this prayer:

Jesus I give you my life. Thank you for saving me. I believe in you. Your life. Your death on the cross. And your resurrection. Forgive me of my sins. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Lead me. And teach me to follow you. And I ask it in Jesus name.
