1. The foundation of love

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. -John 13:34-35

2. Building trust and honesty

The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth. -Proverbs 12:22

3. Practicing forgiveness

instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

-Ephesians 4:32

4. Showing humility and selflessness

Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. – Philippians 2:3-4

5. Communicating effectively

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

6. Encouraging and Supporting One Another

So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. -1 Thessalonians 5:11
