GOOD NEIGHBOR PROJECT
Community Service Event | Sunday, Aug 25th | 9am-12pm
CALLING ALL NEIGHBORS! You’re a good neighbor, and if you’re like us, you want to leave your community better than you found it!
The Good Neighbor Project is an annual event where we take a Sunday to leave our communities better than we found them. We believe that Jesus cares just as deeply as we do about our communities and because of that, we want to roll up our sleeves and help where we are needed.

Men’s Float
2024 Men’s Float, Aug 1st - 3rd. No experience necessary!
Men, join us on our annual Men’s Trek, Aug 1st - 3rd. Out on the water, we’ll build friendships and build on our faith... all within some of the most beautiful places our God has made for us. This adventure is designed for high school and up. From those with no backpacking experience to those who already know that many of the best parts of life happen on the trail.
WHO: Men, High School and up are invited to join
WHAT: 3-day Deschutes river float with Westside men. No experience necessary!
WHEN: Aug 1-3rd. More details to follow
WHERE: This year we’re headed for the Deschutes River!

To all of you Westsiders who invest your time, talent, and treasure at Westside, we love you and want to be your biggest cheerleaders! Twice a year we hold an event specially designed for you called the Dream Team Summit and our next one is coming up on 9/24 @ 4pm. August 2nd - 8th | Meet @ Westside
Join us on a men’s adventure, Aug 2nd - 5th. No experience necessary!
Out on the trail, we’ll build friendships, build on our faith and build some basic woodsman skills...all within some of the most beautiful places our God has made for us. This adventure is designed for high school and up. From those with no backpacking experience to those who already know that many of the best parts of life happen on the trail.
WHO: Men, High School and up are invited to join
WHAT: 3-day backpacking with Westside men. No experience necessary! No equipment? No problem! First-time backpackers can rent equipment locally. (No supplies provided)
WHEN: Meet at Westside the morning of Aug 2nd and back mid-day Aug 5th.
WHERE: This year we’re headed for the central Cascades for a 12 mile loop trail.

We are so excited to gather our Dream Team together on May 21st. We will be sharing a meal together and have a guest speaker coming to share some very practical training. If you’ve been to a Dream Team Summit before, you’re not going to want to miss this one as we’re updating our format to better equip you.
We’re going old school with a potluck for this one! Bring a favorite dish to share - but no desserts! We’ll want to be sure we save room for dessert from Jelanas Bake Shop right down the street! It won’t disappoint!

MEN’S BACKPACKING TREK
July 20th - 23rd | Meet @ Westside
Join us on a men’s adventure, July 20th - 23rd. No experience necessary!

$30 per backpacker
No equipment? No problem! First time backpackers can rent equipment locally. (No supplies provided)
Meet at Westside the morning of July 20th, back mid-day July 23rd
We’ll enjoy the Three Sisters Wilderness Westside Hike. This is a 26 mile loop within the Willamette National Forest between Eugene and Bend, Oregon. The trail starts and ends at the Obsidian Trailhead.
