Friday, Nov 18th & Saturday, Nov 19th|Food Box Assembly & Delivery
Join us in helping over 500 families in need this holiday season. Through a partnership with Westside Food Brigade, the Sunshine Division, and Aloha High School, we'll provide a family meal for those in need.
What you need to know about the three opportunities to get involved:
1) Food Box Assembly. We're bringing our annual food box assembly back this year! It will be Friday, November, 18th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the Westside auditorium. We'll team up to assemble food boxes and get them ready for delivery the next morning.
2) Food Box Delivery. Saturday, November 19th we'll be delivering food boxes to AHS and Westside Food Brigade families.
3) Adopt a Family/Food Donations. Provide a family with a food box or simply donate the food most needed. You're welcome to deliver your box (and a few more) directly to families on Saturday or drop it off Saturday morning at 9am. To adopt a family simply put together a food box with the following contents:
1 Turkey (10+lb)
1 lg can Yams
Stuffing
1bg Marshmallows
Mashed Potatoes
1 can Cranberry Sauce
Gravy
1 bg Rolls
2 canned Veggies
1 Frozen Pie - any flavor
If you would like to donate the most needed foods you can do so at the Westside Campus on Sundays. We'll be collecting lg cans of yams, bags of marshmallows, canned cranberry sauce, and frozen pies of any flavor.
