When God Messes Up Your Plans…

1. He’s trying to GET your ATTENTION

God says, “I wish my people would listen to me.”    -Psalm 81:13 (NCV)

There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.    -Proverbs 16:25 (NLT)



2. He has a BETTER PLAN

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

No one has ever seen, heard, or even imagined what wonderful things God has ready for those who love him.    -1 Corinthians 2:9 (LB)


3. He wants you to TRUST HIM

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.    -Romans 8:28 (NLT)

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.   -Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)

The Lord will work out his plans for my life—

for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. 

Don’t abandon me, for you made me.     

-Psalm 138:8 (NLT)
