19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. -1 Corinthians 6:19-20

WHY YOUR HEALTH MATTERS TO GOD

1. Because He LIVES IN you

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you…He is the Holy Spirit…he lives with you now and later will be in you.    -John 14:16-17


2. Because He PAID FOR you

For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.    -Colossians 1:13-14


3. Because He WORKS THROUGH you

If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.    -2 Timothy 2:21
