Winning at Home - Part 3 of 4

Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. – Hebrews 11:1

For we live by believing and not be seeing. – 2 Corinthians 5:7

1. Faith________________ with you.

So faith comes by hearing, that is, hearing the good news about Christ. – Romans 10:17

2. Faith is ________________ in us.

I remember your genuine faith, for share the faith that first filled your grandmother, Lois and your Mother, Eunice. And I know that the same faith continues strong in you. – 2 Timothy 1:5

3. Faith is ________________ about.

7 Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” 8 But the officer said, “Lord, I’m not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. 9 I know this because I’m under the authority of my superior officers and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, and they go, or ‘Come’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” 10 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, I haven’t seen faith like this in all of Israel!” – Matthew 8: 7-10

4. Faith In Prayer

And we are confident that he hears us whenever he asks for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. – I John 5:14-15

5. Faith Listens

11 “Go out and stand before me on the mountain.” The Lord told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. And after the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire, there was a sound of a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. – I Kings 19:11-13
