The Great Commission

18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

Becoming a Change Agent

Mark 5:1-20

1. Start where you are.

But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family... – Mark 5:19a

2. Use what you have.

But Jesus said, ... tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” – Mark 5:19

3. Focus on what you can do.

So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told him. – Mark 5:20

So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” - 2 Corinthians 5:20
