1. Don’t press the EJECT button

“But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish.” - Jonah 1:3

2. Instead, get away to PRAY. 

“Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.” Mark 1:35

3. Start with the END in mind.

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Mark 8:36-37

End-of-Life Evaluation

At the end of your life, what do you want to be true about your soul? 

What do you want these people to say about you? 

  1. Jesus? 

  2. Your spouse?

  3. Your kids? 

  4. Your family

  5. Your friends 

  6. Your coworkers

  7. Yourself?
