MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR
The Maintenance Director at Westside Community Church plays a pivotal role in ensuring our church campus is welcoming, safe, and functional for all our members, visitors, and events. This position requires a practical, hands-on individual who can manage minor repairs and coordinate maintenance efforts across our facilities. This role is part-time, requiring about 8 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during special events or projects.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the church facilities are in good working order.
Build and manage a volunteer maintenance team for regular campus work days, including recruitment, scheduling, and training.
Coordinate with church staff to prioritize repair needs and special projects.
Ensure safety standards are met in all maintenance activities and that the church complies with relevant regulations.
Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to extend the life of church property.
The Maintenance Director is a:

Organizer: Efficiently planning maintenance schedules and volunteer workdays.

The Maintenance Director is not:
A full-time contractor: While skilled, their role focuses on oversight and minor repairs, not extensive renovations or major constructions.
