Church shouldn’t be boring, it should be fun. It should be a place where you can find inspiration while growing closer to God. Westside is that kind of church. It’s about community: it’s a church where a group of people of all ages come together, are welcomed and accepted, and encouraged to be all that God made them to be. Join us this weekend and enjoy live music and a practical biblical message that will share God’s goodness and guidance.

Q: Do I have to dress up to come to church?
A: We welcome you to come as you are comfortable. We believe God is more concerned with the condition of our hearts than with the style of our clothing.
Q: What kind of teaching will I receive?
A: We gear our teaching toward life-application. When you come to Westside, you can expect to be challenged in a practical way. Sunday Morning centers on a relevant topic that is Bible based. Weekly Small Groups provide a discussion-oriented learning environment where truth comes to life.
Q: What is the music like?
A: Our music style can be summed up in three words: celebration, inspiration, and preparation. We use an upbeat music style to worship God, focus our hearts, and make us ready for life.
Q: Who is the Lead Pastor?
A: Gabe Kolstad, who has served on staff at Westside since 1998, moved into the role of Lead Pastor in May of 2007.
Q: What does the church believe?
A: Click here for a summary of the essentials we believe at Westside Community Church.
Q: How can I get started?
A: When you come to Westside, let us know you came. You can do that by completing a Response Card located in the seat backs in our Worship Center. Turn this card in by dropping it off at the guest services station located in the back of the auditorium. In return, you will recieve a welcome packet along with a gift from us
We encourage you to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible. One great way to get connected is to find a Small Group to attend. Also, consider attending the next 101 CLASS to check out what is involved in church membership (no strings attached!). We believe in letting you set the pace of your involvement, and we'll be there to help each step along the way.
Q: How can I get involved or volunteer?
A: From your experiences to your talents, God wants to use you to help other people. We believe you can make a difference by serving in a ministry at Westside. There are a variety of areas where you can get involved. Just let us know that you are interested and we’ll help find a place for you.
